WOW WHAT A DEAL!!!
You receive 1000 business cards, printed 4/0 (that's full color on one side in printerspeak) on 16pt gloss cover stock (same art on all...meaning you can't do a bunch of different business cards, they all have to be the same). Design time is not included (additional time billed at $80 per hour).
You may provide your own digital art. We recommend saving your file as a .PDF. You may also send the file in the following types: jpg, jpeg, psd, tif, eps, ai, and png. We prefer that you send .PDF and .EPS files with outlined fonts. These files are easier to handle and will likely speed up your turn-around. Remember to add crop marks and flatten your files.
If you send us an RGB file, there is a chance that a color shift may occur and you may not be satisfied with your job. You should always start and finish your designs in CMYK color mode.
We only accept 300 DPI files and no less.
If your artwork bleeds (image extends off edge of printed piece), the bleed must extend .125 “ past the the cut line. Please keep all text and anything else you do not want cut at least .125” away from the cut line.
When sending an .EPS or .PDF, make sure you include crop marks so we can cut the job correctly.
PDF JOB READY
Download the PDF Job Ready (click on the box above the tie-dyed Mini Cooper) and you are ready for the easiest experience of having something printed.
You create your document in whatever program you are comfortable in and when you are ready to send it to us, it's the same process as sending it to the printer by your elbow. Go to file (up at the top left of your screen) and scroll down to PRINT. When you select PRINT, one of your choices is now "Send to Placerville Minuteman Press.com" Select that one. and hit OK. Now what will happen is the PDF Job Ready will go and gather all the necessary stuff in order to print your project, fonts, pictures, etc. and embed them in the PDF that it sends to us. This assures that we don't end up with things looking funky due to system differences. Once it gathers everything, it'll create a PDF for you to look at on your screen which will represent exactly what we will get on our end. If you like how it looks, click the ACCEPT button and off it goes. It'll then show up a form which will ask important questions like: who are you, what's your phone numnber, how many, when do you need it, what kind of paper, etc. It then sends me an e-mail saying that you've sent it and we'll give you a call to verify all the information and make sure you get what you want. We will agree on a delivery date and next thing you know a tie-dyed Mini Cooper is at your door with your printing. Call me directly if you have any questions or concerns.
